Ceramic Metallization Solutions
Finida delivers raw materials for ceramic metallization production processes for military, medical, and new energy vehicle manufacturing applications, as well as industrial ceramic part prototyping and ceramic metallization production services from the front end to the back end. We can even supply a full set of ceramic metallization production equipment installation services as well as a series of following production technology support solutions if necessary.
Ceramic metallization is the process of depositing a layer of metal onto the ceramic surface of a substrate to generate a wettable surface for subsequent brazing.
As the base layer on a ceramic substrate, our ceramic metallization method comprises proprietary molybdenum/manganese/tungsten/Au pastes. This distinctive formulation, developed and manufactured wholly in-house, allows for a hermetic ceramic-to-metal bond in a brazed assembly.
Capabilities
- Ceramic and sapphire metallization
- Metallization of ceramic bodies that are flat, cylindrical, or complicated
- Various application methods: Screen-printing brush, spray, and needle
After metallization coatings are sintered onto ceramics at high temperatures, they are typically plated via chemical or electrolytic/nickel oxide coatings to prevent oxidation and improve wettability, and XRF technology is used at a later stage to ensure that the product meets the required thickness specifications.
